Corrugated Boxes
Crash-Lock Bottom Carton
Also known as: Auto-bottom case, FEFCO 0711
The bottom flaps of a crash-lock carton are glued at the factory. The case arrives flat; when opened, the bottom sets itself and needs no tape. The top flaps meet in the middle like a regular slotted carton.
It saves time per case on the packing line and suits high-volume shipping. The version of the same bottom with a tuck lid on top is the Corrugated Auto-Bottom Box.

What you can customise
Every pack is made to order for your product and brand. Each of the points below is decided together at the quotation stage.
- Size
- Inner dimensions are set to your product; the case size can be tuned together with pallet and courier volume limits.
- Flute
- E flute (about 1.5 mm) is thin and prints well; B flute (about 3 mm) is the most common case; C flute and BC double wall are for heavy loads and high stacking.
- Liner
- The outside can be brown kraft or white; the paper weight is chosen for the product weight, stacking height and shipping conditions.
- Flexo print, or offset-printed paper laminated onto the corrugated board; laminated print gives e-commerce boxes a more vivid look.
