Corrugated Boxes
Corrugated Mailer Box
Also known as: E-commerce box, tuck-front mailer, FEFCO 0427
A corrugated mailer is cut in one piece and closes without tape: the front wall and sides fold double, and the lid hinged at the back closes forward and locks with a front tuck. It arrives flat and saves tape and packing time.
It is usually made from thin E-flute board: it protects the product in transit and its surface prints well. The lighter paperboard version of the same cut is on the Paperboard Mailer Box page.
Typical uses

What you can customise
Every pack is made to order for your product and brand. Each of the points below is decided together at the quotation stage.
- Inside print
- The inside of the lid and box can be printed too; it is the first surface seen on opening.
- Size
- Inner dimensions are set to your product; the case size can be tuned together with pallet and courier volume limits.
- Flute
- E flute (about 1.5 mm) is thin and prints well; B flute (about 3 mm) is the most common case; C flute and BC double wall are for heavy loads and high stacking.
- Liner
- The outside can be brown kraft or white; the paper weight is chosen for the product weight, stacking height and shipping conditions.
- Flexo print, or offset-printed paper laminated onto the corrugated board; laminated print gives e-commerce boxes a more vivid look.
