Folding Cartons
Paperboard Mailer Box
Also known as: Folding carton mailer, tuck-front mailer
A mailer is cut in one piece and closes without tape: the front wall and sides fold double, and the lid hinged at the back closes forward and locks with a front tuck. It arrives flat and saves tape and packing time.
This model is made from paperboard (bristol or white-lined board), not corrugated board. It suits lighter products, subscription and gift shipments. The same cut structure made from corrugated board, sturdier for heavy products and long courier journeys, is on the Corrugated Mailer Box page. The inside of the lid shows on opening, a natural space for inside print.

What you can customise
Every pack is made to order for your product and brand. Each of the points below is decided together at the quotation stage.
- Material
- This box is made from paperboard, not corrugated board. For the corrugated version, see the Corrugated Mailer Box page.
- Inside print and lamination
- The inside of the lid and box can be printed and laminated separately.
- Size
- Width, depth and height are set to your product; a few millimetres of flexibility can reduce waste by fitting the blank better on the sheet.
- Board
- Paperboard coated on one side (bristol), coated paper, or white-front grey-back board; the weight is chosen for the product.
- Offset (CMYK) or UV print; the inside can be printed too.
- Finishes
- Matte or gloss lamination, varnish, hot foil and embossing; each affects strength as well as looks.
- Window
- An open or film-covered window can be cut to show the product.
