Six-Corner Glued Box
Also known as: 6-point glued box, hinged-lid tray
Glued at six points on a machine, this box comes from one piece of board: the tray and a lid hinged at the back wall are cut together. Four glue points are at the tray corners and two at the front corners of the lid; the lid’s front flap drops over the front and its side flaps over the sides.
Because the corners are glued with diagonal creases, the box folds flat while glued; it ships flat and both tray and lid set up by themselves when opened. It is common for cakes, biscuits and gift boxes.

What you can customise
Every pack is made to order for your product and brand. Each of the points below is decided together at the quotation stage.
- Size
- Width, depth and height are set to your product; a few millimetres of flexibility can reduce waste by fitting the blank better on the sheet.
- Board
- Paperboard coated on one side (bristol), coated paper, or white-front grey-back board; the weight is chosen for the product.
- Offset (CMYK) or UV print; the inside can be printed too.
- Finishes
- Matte or gloss lamination, varnish, hot foil and embossing; each affects strength as well as looks.
- Window
- An open or film-covered window can be cut to show the product.
