Folding Cartons
Reverse Tuck End Box
Also known as: RTE box
The reverse tuck end is the most common folding carton. It is cut from one piece of board, side-glued and delivered flat; at the point of use it is opened and closed with tuck flaps at both ends.
The top and bottom tucks hinge from opposite panels: the top from the back, the bottom from the front. The blank is therefore Z-shaped and nests economically on the sheet. Click the box and unfold it to see the difference.
Typical uses
- Cosmetics and personal care
- Pharma and supplements
- Food and confectionery
- Electronics accessories

What you can customise
Every pack is made to order for your product and brand. Each of the points below is decided together at the quotation stage.
- Size
- Width, depth and height are set to your product; a few millimetres of flexibility can reduce waste by fitting the blank better on the sheet.
- Board
- Paperboard coated on one side (bristol), coated paper, or white-front grey-back board; the weight is chosen for the product.
- Offset (CMYK) or UV print; the inside can be printed too.
- Finishes
- Matte or gloss lamination, varnish, hot foil and embossing; each affects strength as well as looks.
- Window
- An open or film-covered window can be cut to show the product.
