Folding Cartons
Four-Corner Glued Tray
Also known as: 4-point glued tray, paperboard tray
Cut from one piece of board, the tray is made by gluing its four diagonally creased corner tabs on a four-point gluing machine. Even with glued corners it folds flat and ships flat; when opened, the walls rise by themselves. It is open on top and used for desserts, pastries or as a presentation tray.
Walls can be straight or slightly flared. Combined with a sleeve (like a matchbox) it becomes a closed pack.

What you can customise
Every pack is made to order for your product and brand. Each of the points below is decided together at the quotation stage.
- Size
- Width, depth and height are set to your product; a few millimetres of flexibility can reduce waste by fitting the blank better on the sheet.
- Board
- Paperboard coated on one side (bristol), coated paper, or white-front grey-back board; the weight is chosen for the product.
- Offset (CMYK) or UV print; the inside can be printed too.
- Finishes
- Matte or gloss lamination, varnish, hot foil and embossing; each affects strength as well as looks.
- Window
- An open or film-covered window can be cut to show the product.
