Sleeve
Also known as: Box sleeve, belly band
A sleeve is cut from one piece of board and side-glued into a tube open at both ends. It wraps the box or tray inside, which slides out like a matchbox.
It is an economical layer for product information, campaigns or seasonal designs: the same box becomes a different product with a different sleeve.

What you can customise
Every pack is made to order for your product and brand. Each of the points below is decided together at the quotation stage.
- Sleeve width
- Made to cover the whole box or only part of it.
- Size
- Width, depth and height are set to your product; a few millimetres of flexibility can reduce waste by fitting the blank better on the sheet.
- Board
- Paperboard coated on one side (bristol), coated paper, or white-front grey-back board; the weight is chosen for the product.
- Offset (CMYK) or UV print; the inside can be printed too.
- Finishes
- Matte or gloss lamination, varnish, hot foil and embossing; each affects strength as well as looks.
- Window
- An open or film-covered window can be cut to show the product.
